I designed my Ooh La Lace Shawlette as a tribute to my favorite icon, the Eiffel Tower. This design was the Twisted Shawlette Club pattern for May 2013, and it’s now available through PDXKnitterati via Ravelry. Ooh la la!

    What a cute incorporation of the Eiffel Tower! I have a friend who seems to love anything Eiffel … I will direct her to this pattern!

      Thank you! I especially love it in the brown Shine. The Eiffel Tower is actually painted brown! And the Shine is such nice yarn. I had never knit with a tencel blend before, and I really like the drape and shiny finish on it. I’m currently knitting a Filigree shawl for myself with it in Silver Lining.

      Thanks so much! I really like this shawl shape; it’s very wearable. I used similar shapings for my Filigree and Webfoot shawls. I can’t pick a favorite; it depends on my mood!
