These sumptuously squishy ZigZag Lightning Cowls were designed with Malabrigo Worsted in mind. Choose two coordinating colors and enjoy the interplay! I particularly like using a variegated with a semi-solid, but you are the boss of your knitting. The zigzag stitch pattern is created with slipped stitches which are worked with a simple cable maneuver in a subsequent round. Only one color is worked per round. This design is featured by Malabrigo as a Malabrigo Quickie for September 2014.
The cowl is offered in two lengths, this short cozy version, and
The longer cowl is particularly cozy worn doubled.
This pattern is available via download through Ravelry. Click the button, and you’ll be guided through the process. Payment is through PayPal.
I’ve created a video tutorial for working the cables in this cowl, both with and without a cable needle. You can see it here.
