This Little Ziggy is a vest for toddlers. I designed it for Lorajean Kelley of Knitted Wit, using her DK weight Polwarth/Silk blend. Luscious! We had two done for Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival, 2011. They’re just the right size for her boys.
Aren’t they cute?
The Knitted Wit/Ravelry version has both two and three stripe options, as well as a coordinating hat.
The pattern is available through my Ravelry shop. Click the button and it will walk you through the purchase process via paypal.
I’ve also knit this vest in KnitPicks Swish DK, which is a washable merino wool. The KnitPicks version of this pattern is knit only with the three stripe option in both sizes, because the yarn knits up a little more densely. There’s not enough of the MC to do a 2 stripe option, even in the smaller size, without buying extra yarn. I figure these things out so you don’t have to!
The hat pattern is not included in the KnitPicks version. You can find the KnitPicks version of This Little Ziggy here. If you want just the hat, you can purchase the pattern here.
Ziggy Hat only pattern, through Ravelry.
It was a glorious day at the pumpkin patch!
