Whale Watch is a 2-color brioche hat or cowl, knit in the round from the bottom up. I designed this set as a quick start teaching piece for my 3 hour classes, beginning with 2 color brioche rib, and then introducing simple increases and decreases. Frolicking whales and soaring gulls will keep you entertained at sea, at the beach, or anywhere!
The set is knit with 2 colors worsted weight yarn. The small (large) hat uses 95 (100) yds/87 (90) m dark color, 75 (83) yds/69 (76) m light color. The short (tall) cowl uses 88 (107) yds/81 (98) m dark color, 64 (93) yds/59 (85) m light color.
