…as soon as I get past the heel turn on my sock, I lose interest?
(basic ribbed sock in Knitted Wit’s Bling)
(basic stockinette bed sock in Malabrigo worsted. toasty, if I ever finish!)
It suddenly feels like an endless project, as if I’m knitting for Sasquatch. And that’s just the first sock..
(not really a footprint, just a curious formation in the Hawaiian lava, I hope)
In other news, I’ll be over at Twisted tomorrow from 10 to noon for a reception for Created in Oregon: A Knitter’s Datebook 2012. The trunk show is already there, and will be there through Sunday. My Rockaway Beach Beanie/Cowl is there, along with 11 other fabulous designs from Oregon designers. Come on by!
I’m so lucky I’ve never suffered second sock syndrome. Love that cowl!
I tell you I would have been on the boat if it weren’t for knitting two-at-a-time! You ought to try it 😀 Lovely cowls.
I was bummed that I missed Coastal Knits trunk show last week…and now Created in Oregon. Shoot! I will be over there next weekend? Why can’t I time hubby’s travel better LOL Have fun and sell lotsa of copies:D
Yup, been there with the “losing interest” part–not so much with the sock itself, but more with starting the second sock.
I’ve been having that problem too! Though I also realized I had screwed up the gusset increases, and had to take out several rounds. So not feeling as motivated to finish the sock… Love your color choices though 🙂
