Just enough…

Barely. I finished knitting my amended Pacific shawl this morning, binding off a bazillion stitches. I wasn’t sure I was going to make it. Here’s the yarn I had left.

I don’t think there’s enough for even one more complete row. Glad that worked out! Now I need to block it, and then I can show it to you. I’ll be writing the pattern for several sizes, too, now that I know the outer limits of the skein…

  1. Whew! That was close! I can’t wait to see the finished shawl.

  2. Such ideal yarn usage. There should be a competition for least amount of leftover yarn.

  3. I love it when that happens! Even if I’m sweating it at the end, it’s great to know that I got every last bit of a skein into a project. 🙂

  4. PHEW…close call. Glad you made it through. My shrug did the same thing…I ended with 5 grams. It’s always satisfying when everything falls into place just right 😀 Look forward to seeing the final version!

  5. wow. i am always panicked about having enough yarn on larger projects. glad it worked out for you!!

  6. Whew – close call!

  7. Holy crap! That was close.

  8. Oh my gosh … it’s scary to get down that low!
