I’m looking forward to VKLive in New York in January! This is the biggest event I teach at; it’s a whirlwind of fun.
Helix knitting is one of my new classes. I’m looking forward to teaching it there, and also at For Yarn’s Sake this Sunday, a little closer to home. Jogless stripes are so tidy!
There are so many classes with so many wonderful teachers; there’s something for everyone. The market at VKL is huge, and there are fashion shows and interviews happening on the stage all day long. VKLive is a great place to see old friends and make new friends.

I enjoyed Vogue Live years ago when it was in Columbus, OH. Having classes was definitely the big attraction. But truthfully, I haven’t used what I learned. I do much better if the class is timed with when I want to knit a project with the learning like the brioche class I just took. It has been a common thread with any class I take with my knitting group. A great class pre-Covid on Latvian braid that I’ve never knit (but it’s on my ’27 goals). I like supporting our “local” venders at the wool festival that is held each year only an hour drive from my home each year. I’ll be driving there Sunday with a knitting friend. Hence I don’t need the marketplace of Vogue Live. Jogless stripes though would be a timely and useful class.
I definitely get a big energy boost at festivals! But don’t always use the new information from classes in a timely manner.
Jogless Stripes class yesterday was a hoot! We had a great time. Looking forward to teaching that at VKLive.
