My Deep End brioche hat class has just been listed at Twisted. This class will teach you brioche increases and decreases in a jiffy! Most of the techniques are introduced in the first patterning round. The class is not a beginning brioche class; you should already know how to knit brioche rib. The Deep End pattern is included in the class fee. Registration link here. Class is on Saturday, October 24, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Pacific time.
If you want to knit Deep End but don’t need a class, you can still purchase the pattern, and the introductory discounts are good through tomorrow, October 8. Purchase through Ravelry or Payhip.
WordPress has just chosen to force me into using their “new” block editor today. They’ve been trying to do this for a long time; I like the old editor just fine. Now I have to learn a new thing, and I’m not sure I have the mental bandwidth this week. Ugh! Aaaaand the preview tab doesn’t work. I hate change…grumble grumble grumble. Well, I’m going to go ahead and post; hope this looks okay!
The preview problem drove me bananas, Clever One; but eventually I found that if you move from the now only slightly safe environment of the WP-Admin left-hand bar into the much less familiar My Site bar on the left, preview works. It’s all to do with getting us out of that warm familiar environment, I fear .. 😦
I will hunt it down! Thanks for the tip.
Your post looks fine. I admit I like the old block editor too. I’ve been avoiding using the new one but will eventually find a way to work it.
Your hat pattern is beautiful.
I have to admit that I didn’t use the previous block editor, either! I was just using the code page, not even the visual editor. I’d been using it since 2008. There’s just never a good time to learn a new tech thing, when the old one was working perfectly fine. I’d rather spend my time knitting/designing! Oh well. I have now written TWO posts with the new block editor. Still have to hunt around for tags and categories, and I can’t figure out how big my pictures really are yet…or how to center/left or right justify… This is going to take me a while!
Nice hat! I am venturing into brioche this weekend since I have an extra day off from work.
I am finally getting the handle on the block editor format. It took me a little bit of playing around at first, but now I am used to it. Your post looks just fine from my end of the interwebz! Regina
I’m getting used to the block editor, too. It is taking a while to figure out where my controls are, but I think I’ve got it now. I just hate being forced into change, although that’s the only way to get me to do it!

I really didn’t like it at first. I had a difficult time with formatting the text in relation to an image.
Looks great – don’t worry!
