I mentioned Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off in yesterday’s post, saying that I couldn’t tell you more yet. It’s up today! I also found out that I’ve been spelling her first and last names wrong. It’s Jeny Staiman. And she’s brilliant.
Here’s the rest of Knitty. It’s a little slow today; I imagine they’re getting a gazillion hits. I’ll go back and look at it later…
Knit on!

I’m excited to check out that bind off! It looked really nice on the sock you just finished.
I am so glad you blogged this. I saw it went “oh, new bind off” then closed it. When I saw this I thought- I have got to go look at that again. I used it last night and WOW- surprisingly stretchy!
It was really slow, probably because of your post 😉
I love Knitty! They always have such wonderful patterns. Will check out the bind off technique.
I hope you guys do try it! But I am a bit biased. 🙂
I think it looks best on k1p1 rib — see http://www.ravelry.com/projects/jenyc/jenys-surprisingly-stretchy-bind-off.
