Checkerboard Scarflet (easy)

Checkerboard Scarflet: This pattern uses less than one 100 gm/193 yard skein of worsted weight yarn. Gauge is approximately 4 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch.

This pattern was written to be easy enough for beginners who know how to knit and purl, but have enough visual/textural interest for more advanced knitters, too. It takes less than one 100 gm skein of worsted weight yarn. Here’s the post on how the scarflet came to be.

Scarflet also requires three 3/4 inch buttons.
