It’s cute. I would never knit something like that, so yes, it’d be easier to buy one. I don’t normally wear “holiday” clothes like this, I just don’t like the idea of having something I can only wear for one month during the year.

What a fun sweater! It is amazing that a store bought sweater has so much detail. Persimmons have always been one of my favorite fruits. We had a tree in the backyard and they remind me of my childhood. Crunchy and sweet, I just received a dozen of them last week from a friend who has a tree. Glad to see you are busy with your shop – good tidings and much success!

Amazing detail, but I’m sorry, ugly to me. I’m just not a fan of wearing knit items with pictures on it, Christmas or no Christmas… unless, of course, it’s for someone between the ages of 2 and 5, in which case it’s forgivable.

Oh that sweater is awesome!
My mom had a whole collection of Xmas sweaters that she used to buy every year at the Nordy’s after- Xmas sale. She would wear them to work nearly every day in December— her fourth grade students loved it!

i’m definitely on the kitsch art side of the fence (or is it ugly like ugly dolls are ugly?). if a sweater like this got into my hands, i have to admit i wouldn’t wear it, but i *would* make it into a cushion cover. that way, i (and others) could admire it on the sofa for the whole of the holiday season without having to wear it and get hot under the collar while baking cookies or roasting a turkey.
