Sounds like a wonderful evening … music, dessert, wine … all great for the senses. Glad you got to enjoy your piano from a short distance. It’s kinda like letting someone else drive the car and finally getting to enjoy the scenery passing by (… well, depending on who is driving).

I’ve made chocolate truffles before (long long time ago) where I had melted chocolate. I always want to dip my fingers in and am always surprised that melted chocolate is HOT! lol.

A Joshua Logan picture (I met him once) with Rossano Brazzi singing “Some Enchanted Evening,” one of my fav first movies.

Your food looks terrific, your wine list divine. Might I use your chocolate sauce recipe on my blog? With appropriate credit of course. You must be a very savvy chocolatier if you can do this without a double boiler.

Life is good, I’m writing, hubby’s in the bedroom on his laptop listening to Juni Fisher (thanks) and there’s work in our future. Let’s just hope the hurricane doesn’t make a direct hit or I’ll think we’re at the epicenter of a vast world conspiracy!
